Good Morning Family, Friends Fellow Optimistic Space Travelers -
Happy re-Birthday! Every day is a birth day, if you think about it that way.
So, as you may or may not remember, Arne and I entered the Tiny Desk contest a bit last minute and not really the best we could have EVER done, but it was the best we could do at that moment in time.
So, I will not be sharing our video again, because I would rather work on something else. I won't be sharing the winning video either, because that is NPR's fun thing to do.
Instead, over the next few weeks at least, I will be sharing some selections from the other courageous souls who put their heart, souls and music out there.
This week's selection is "Poetiquette" - I think it is funky, sexy, soulful and heartfelt. I am NOT being paid to endorse this work. I have already been paid, with receipt of this gift, and I am just paying it forward. If you like or love it, share it and tell people about it. If not, say nothing and go find a piece of music that you love so much, you want to share it.
The world needs more music, more art and more kindness. And more love.
At least that is how I see it.
Speaking of love, that GoFundMe for Nasso we shared on facebook is almost at goal. If you can spare a few dollars, please donate. If not, please share. Thank you.
Check out a couple of fun videos for Tortex picks: background music by the very talented
James dePrato (he's not on facebook much, but go ahead and follow him anyway.
