Monday Morning Musings

Michelle Williams and Tamara Burke

Hope this moment finds you happy and as busy as you want to be.

Did you watch the Golden Globes? I did!
There were so many wonderful speeches and Oprah sounded as if she just launched a 2020 presidential bid.
Stand out moments for me were red carpet stars making space for activists. And all the beautiful black dresses!
So Mari Mack-ish!
That moment Nicole Kidman said "Keith Urban, when my cheek is against yours, everything melts away..." I was crying, so I guess I'm just an old romantic.

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday on facebook! I really appreciate it.
Speaking of facebook, I started this fundraiser for one of my favorite non-profits, Redford Center, and it ends soon.
If you can donate, great, if not, that's OK too but please just do yourself a favor and check out some of their films.  If you CAN donate, please click HERE

Last but not least, music! We have a gig at the end of the week! Mike Rinta has been added to the lineup for Saturday's show at The Saloon! Mike played on the "Can't Go Back" album, and his trombone solo on "Birthday Suit" is a stand out. If you are in town, you don't want to miss this one.
Hope you can join us.
If you are on facebook, can you do me a favor and click HERE for the facebook event to RSVP? That way, more people will see it. Also, if you are not in town, we will try to go live and barring any unforeseen technical challenges, we will post in the event when we are about to go live.

You can also track us on our facebook page BandsinTown  and/or Songkick

"Livin' Like Kings: Rough Tracks" is now in preorder on Amazon as well as Google Play and iTunes! Our release date is January 24th.

That is all for now. I hope you have a wonderful week! Be kind to yourself and others.

Here's a trailer for "Happening" a very hopeful film from Redford Center about clean energy:
