Musings : 11/16/2015 : Mill Valley Music 8th Anniversary Party 11/22/2015

Hi Everyone -
Hope you are finding some peace and solitude amongst the madness. I'm doing my best to just send some love and healing vibes out into the world, saving my deepest thoughts and emotions for my music. When you are the kind of person who tends to wear their emotions on their sleeve (which I have been for a large portion of my life) every once in a while you need to take a break from putting it all out there.

The LLK album progress has come to a screeching halt for several reasons. Please accept my apologies for that, but we will get back to it as soon as we can. As you all know, we have to set priorities and for me, that is taking care of things at home before anything else. I'm still in catch up mode from the dreaded slab fiasco and other things.

If you want to pre-order the album, please visit the bandcamp page and thanks in advance for your support and understanding. It will be done when it is time to be done. In the meantime, the world still turns.

In the meantime, Mill Valley Music is celebrating their eight anniversary, the party is 7:30 pm Sunday, November 22nd at the Sweetwater! I'll be contributing the backing vocals and having a fun time hanging with my friends in the Sticky Fingers project.

Hope to see some of you there.

ox,
Mari

One more thing, lest I forget - the SF "Parks and Wreck" department has rejected a proposal to create a permanent arts center at the historic Palace of Fine Arts building, instead opting to move forward with plans for either a hotel or restaurant. Can you believe that? Anyway, a petition has been circulated and is gathering signatures - please sign and share. Thanks.
