Hey All !
Thanks again to everyone who came out to support the "Made in Mill Valley" CD project on Sunday, November 23rd at The Sweetwater. It turned out to be a really fun night.
If you didn't get there early, you missed me, as I was given the honor of immediately following Rita Abrams, who started off the show with her legendary hit "Mill Valley." It was great to sing along with the audience on the chorus, because every day when I wake up, I pinch myself and give thanks for the privilege to call this place my home.
The next day, Gary and Neal from Mill Valley Music All Stars met me at The Sweetwater, so we ended up sitting in with Austin DeLone for a couple of tunes during Sweetwater Monday Open Mic.
Btw, there is no open mic during the next couple of weeks, but if you happen to be in the area on December 15th, check it out. It's a bit like a musical potluck - you never know who's going to show or what you're going to get.
If you want to buy the "Made in Mill Valley" album, which is a fundraiser for the Richard DeLone Special Housing Project, contact Gary at Mill Valley Music for info on how to buy the CD.
When it seems as if the entire world is in turmoil, it is comforting to be a part of something so positive.
Santa Got Stuck Again....
Last year, we jammed on a little holiday tune in our living room, a couple of days before Christmas. If you would like to add it to your holiday listening, you can stream or download it here.
Album Update :
Still writing and searching for songs to finish the "Livin' Like Kings" album. We are also in search of a studio to record the remainder of the tunes. In the meantime, you can get the rough tracks by pre-ordering the album on bandcamp by clicking this link... Every pre-order helps get us to the next album. We may end up doing a crowdfunding campaign. Not sure yet, so I'll keep you posted.
Save the Date : December 13th at The Saloon in SF. Still finalizing the lineup. So, far a couple of the usual Kings are in, hope to see you there. It will be a party!
Celebrate life. Bring some peace and kindness into the world.
Every little bit helps.
