Methyl Iodide?

Methyl iodide is so reliably carcinogenic that it's used in the lab to cause cancer.
The EPA approved its use as an active ingredient in pesticides in 2007, even after 50 scientists, 5 of them Nobel Laureates, advised against its use.
Scientists say it "cannot be used safely," but it is about to be approved for use in CA.
The public has until June 29th to state its opposition to use of Methyl Iodide as a pesticide in CA.
If you would like to state your opposition:
1) Call the Governor & demand that methyl iodide not be approved for use in California: (916) 445-2841
2) Comment by email: mei_comments@cdpr.ca.gov
3) Sign an online petition and get more information:
